Mayra is one the newest additions to Families Uniting Families team. She performs a wide range of clerical and support functions within the agency, assisting social workers, foster parents and other staff members.
Before joining FUF, she was hired by the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) as an Academic Tutor, where she had the opportunity to work directly with the youth at FUF. Her experience as a tutor involved motivating and supporting the children to ensure their academic success.
Mayra is currently attending California State University, Long Beach where she expects to graduate with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Science in December 2015.
