Gladys Cervantes joined Families Uniting Families as a Jr BSW intern in 2013. She worked with the foster youth who were beginning the emancipation practice and worked on our Project Fatherhood program. Following the completion of this internship, she continued to be a devoted volunteer for Project Fatherhood and other Families Uniting Families events. On August 2014, she was hired as a Project Fatherhood Case Manager where she provides individualized case management services to the significant others, children, and fathers who attend our Project Fatherhood program.
Prior to joining Families Uniting Families, Gladys worked at a market research firm where she conducted customer satisfaction surveys. While pursuing her BSW degree, she also completed an internship at a transitional home, where assisted formerly incarcerated women transition back into society after their release from prison.
Gladys graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor degree in Social Work in 2014. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.
