Rosalva has been with Families Uniting Families since its inception. She has been a central in the administrative support and augmentation of all its programs: Foster Family Agency, Adoption Agency, Professional Intern and Project Fatherhood. She has been certified in Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting (MAPP) and Project Fatherhood, as a facilitator. The majority of her time is spent in the preparation of new resource (foster & adoptive) families and their continued participation. Her other duties range from assisting with case management, facility preparation (including adoption home studies), and human resources. Rosalva is known as a “jack of many trades”. In all, she has almost 25 years of work in the human services realm. She has worked in child welfare for the majority of those years and spent about six years of this time between LA County Probation Department and Department of Children and Family Services during the 1990’s.
